Thank you to those who took time from their busy schedule to join us with our colleagues around the world for the 2nd Global Law Deans’ Forum in Madrid.  We thoroughly enjoyed the intellectual exchange that took place between Deans and Vice Deans from all geographic regions.

A very special thank you to Dean Javier de Cendra and the faculty and staff at IE University Law School. We truly appreciate the warmth and hospitality in making all of us feel relaxed and comfortable to engage in thoughtful contemplation of the A Study of Global Evaluative Processes for Legal Education and Scholarship

We are very pleased that our workshop has been able to finalize the Madrid Protocol on the Principles of Evaluation of a Legal Education. It is only through such cooperative efforts that we are able to define principles, goals and strategies for a global legal education informed by the mission and experiences of all our members.

The meeting will begin on the evening of Sunday 25th of October with a Welcome Dinner and end on the afternoon of Tuesday 27th of October.  If you will be attending the Annual Meeting arrangements will be made to transport you from Madrid to Segovia.

There is no registration fee for current IALS member schools. For non-members the registration fee is US$350. Registration fee includes all meals during the meeting. Non-members can credit the Registration Fee in full towards their 2016 IALS Membership.  Cancellation Policy: full refund available prior to 15th August 2015.

The International Association of Law Schools (IALS) and IE University, Law School are pleased to invite you to participate in the 2nd Global Law Deans’ Forum, which will take place in Madrid, Spain on 25th – 27th of October 2015.

The Forum will focus on the following theme A Study of Global Evaluative Processes for Legal Education and Scholarship.

We would also extend a further invitation to a judge of your choosing from your jurisdiction to take part in the workshop.  Please let us know if you intend to invite a jurist, so we can coordinate and make the proper arrangements.
