• This committee will explore the feasibility of a Summer/Winter Law Institute for our members’ students. It has been suggested to move the venue from school to school to be able to offer opportunities for students and faculty to have a variety of experiences in different regions. Initially we would like to keep our program small and limited to 20-30 students.
  • This idea grows from previous experience with our 5-year American Bar Association accredited Summer Law Institute program at the Kenneth Wang School of Law (KWSL) in China. Some of the schools that headed this project were KWSL, Cornell Law School (USA), The University of Milan, Faculty of Law (Italy), University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law (USA), Bucerius Law School (Germany), and Tsinghua University, School of Law (China). It grew to be the largest summer program in China with approximately 150 students from around the world participating each year. Unless we are able to attain sufficient engagement and resources it is not the ambition of the association to grow the program to this size.
