Our 2026 Annual Meeting will be hosted by Stellenbosch University, Faculty of Law, on September 3-4, 2026, in Stellenbosch, South Africa.
The conference is open to everyone.
ACCOMODATION & TRANSPORTATION
Each registered attendee is responsible for making their own hotel accommodations and transportation to Stellenbosch, South Africa. The conference will take place at the Stellenbosch Central, Stellenbosch, 7602, South Africa
Upon registration, attendees will be provided with hotel information.
VISA REQUIREMENTS
Official invitation letters will be emailed separately upon registration. Please note that all registrants are responsible for securing their own visas into South Africa in their home country as necessary.

REQUIREMENTS
- Must be an IALS Member in good standing
SELECTION
- If chosen, a 50% discount off the regular registration fee will be granted.
- If chosen, you will need to:
- Provide a short PowerPoint slide deck (about 5-10 slides) by July 10, 2026
- Participate in a Panel Meeting via Zoom sometime between July 27 and August 7, 2026
- Participate on the Panel at the IALS Annual Meeting, joining the discussion among panelists after all short presentations are made.
