MEET OUR HOST
University of Lausanne, Faculty of Law, Criminal Justice and Public Administration, Lausanne, Switzerland
The Faculty of Law, Criminal Sciences, and Public Administration of the University of Lausanne has the unique distinction in Switzerland of bringing together fields of study and research as varied as law, forensics, criminology, and administration.
This diversity is also found in the Faculty’s research activities. Thus, the School of Law develops intense research activity in the main areas of law. The research carried out by the School of Criminal Sciences develops around strong scientific axes and through transdisciplinary work that integrates the criminal phenomenon as a common denominator. Finally, the Institute for Advanced Studies in Public Administration conducts interdisciplinary, fundamental, and applied research, valued both within the academic community and among public administration professionals.
This diversity is also reflected in its training offering. The School of Law offers various courses allowing you to acquire knowledge of positive law and the analytical and critical skills essential to the exercise of any legal profession. The School of Criminal Sciences (ESC) is, for its part, the only institution in the French-speaking European world to offer comprehensive training in forensic science (forensic science and forensics) and thus occupies a particularly recognized place on the local and international scene. It organizes various training courses in criminal sciences. Finally, the Institute of Advanced Studies in Public Administration (IDHEAP) offers a wide range of accredited university courses at master’s and post-master’s level aimed at developing and transmitting theoretical and practical knowledge linked to public action and management. institutions that are responsible for it.
