The Meeting will take place at University of California, Hastings Law School, Mary Kay Kane Hall, 200 McAllister Street, and David Snodgrass Building, Louis B. Mayer Hall, 198 McAllister St, San Francisco. The buildings are across the street from each other.

Directions, Maps and Transportation Information – click here!   Theme The topic for this year’s conference is “Envisioning the Future of Legal Education Globally – Inside the Crystal Ball.”   Accommodations and Transportation Each attendee is responsible for their own accommodations and transportation to San Francisco, California, United States.  Attendees are welcome to stay at any hotel of their choosing.  UC Hastings and IALS have negotiated lower rates at the following hotel, Hotel Abri and Hotel Whitcomb.  Once registration is confirmed, further details will be given on reservations.   Registration Fees The Registration Fee for Members is $350.  For non-Members the registration fee is US$595. Registration fee includes all meals during the meeting. Cancellation Policy: full refund available prior to 15th August 2016.   There is a guest fee of $150, guests who pay the fee will be allowed to join all social events and meals during the meeting.   Subsidy Limited funding is available for participants from developing countries that are current members. In the event that a participant or his/her institution is unable to provide the full amount for transportation and/or accommodations, funding is available to partner with the participant or his/her institution to share part of that expense. Attendees can apply for subsidy by completing the Subsidy Request Form. The Committee will review the applications and make the final decision. Preference for such stipends are first afforded to members of IALS, prior requests and determined on the basis of maintaining diversity of participation at the meeting.
